Abstract

This article addresses the challenges of managing and comprehensively utilizing coal based bulk solid waste. It analyzes the properties of coal gangue, fly ash, desulfurization gypsum, coal gasification slag, and other coal based bulk solid waste, potential ecological and environmental issues, resource utilization technologies, and current problems in ecological utilization. The results show that in order to ensure the more feasible and sustainable ecological utilization of coal based bulk solid waste, on the one hand, cooperation between the government, environmental protection agencies, scientific research institutions, enterprises, and the public should be strengthened to establish a more comprehensive and applicable standard system for different scenarios. On the other hand, the government and relevant departments need to further improve the policy framework, clarify standards, incentive measures, and responsibilities, in order to promote the sustainable development of ecological utilization.
