Abstract
Under the guidance of new quality productive forces, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into the packaging design industry has become a key driver of innovation and industrial upgrading. This paper explores how AI technologies, including generative design (AIGC), intelligent data analysis, and digital simulation, empower packaging design from the perspectives of creative production, material innovation, and sustainable development. Through industrial cases such as Coca-Cola’s AI-driven packaging and Nestlé’s smart packaging system, this research summarizes the transformation of the packaging design process under AI empowerment. It concludes that AI not only improves design efficiency and precision but also reconstructs the industrial value chain, promoting the sustainable evolution of the packaging industry.
